VIDEO DESCRIPTION (YouTube): Virgin Atlantic's A340 named "Maiden Tokyo" takes off at Runway 06 in Manila. VS doesn't have passenger flights to and from Manila. They only bring their planes in MNL for maintenance at Lufthansa Technik Philippines. This is a ferry flight headed straight to London Heathrow (LHR). Takeoff was at about 1:23 PM, May 10, 2013. Quite a smokey takeoff at the start! Seeing her was spotter's luck for me :D

[VIDEO] Engine and Turboprop Spinner Spirals in Slow Motion

Ever wonder how engines and turboprops spins in slow motion? Well, here's a video showing that! The videos were recorded using a Lumix ZS19 at 220 frames per second. The quality isn't that good but it's still presentable :)

Zest Air Xian MA60 RP-C8895

Apparently this is my first and last shot of Zest Air's MA60. RP-C8895 landing in MNL/RPLL performing Z2 203 from Marinduque to Manila. This is the last MRQ-MNL flight for Zest Air and for the MA60. The said plane was phased out the day after; it's to be returned to the lessor.
